The Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and AI (RBCDSAI) was set up in 2017 as an outcome of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Data Science (ILDS), with funding from the Institute to encourage interdisciplinary research.
The Centre was started to expand AI adoption in engineering applications and leverage the available expertise on network systems modelling across various Institute departments. In the last 5 years, we have grown to be the pre-eminent interdisciplinary research centre for Data Science and AI in India.
We now have one of the country's largest groups in network analytics and deep reinforcement learning. We also have one of the most active natural language processing and deep learning groups. We publish extensively in conferences and journals and have received numerous best paper recognitions.
